Constellations are a practical, respectful and often profound intervention that illuminate hidden dynamics, reveal fresh resources and offer new paths to resolution. A facilitated process which creates a physical, spatial representation of a relationship system, constellations are guided by an understanding of the natural organising principles which sustain human systems and the application of constellation practices to illuminate then resolve complexity. Constellations enable coaches and their clients to get free from ’stuckness’ and familiar stories, restoring the coherence of the whole and the flow of leadership and organisational health.
Illuminating the invisible dynamics that lie behind challenging issues, a constellation creates a living map – made of people, or, in one-to-one coaching, objects – and can be applied, with training and experience, through facilitated workshops, with teams and one-to-one settings. Constellations are systemic coaching in action.
Constellations have resourced me with a subtle, soulful but robust intervention
There are three principle ways of learning more about the application of constellations in coaching and organisational development. If you hva elite or no experience of this approach then you may like to attend one of our regular INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOPS where group members are invited – under guidance of the facilitator – to represent each element of a particular system issue bought by another participant. This is the context in which the approach was originally developed and provides a powerful way to experience the benefits. Workshops attract coaches, consultants and leaders – creating a rich learning environment in a small group context.
Whether your thirst for more is generated in a workshop or conference ‘taster’ session you may choose to integrate the principles and practice of this work into your coaching with individuals and teams. If so, we provide regular experiential learning circle style trainings in the principles and practices of this approach.
